I’ve read so much about Loreal True Match super-blendable makeup, but I disagree with a vast majority of it. The only thing I would recommend to anyone from this line is the powder. As you can see, I’ve hit pan and I do plan on repurchasing this. My color is W3 Nude Beige. The powder is great. It’s lightweight and has a nice glowy finish. I  normally prefer matte finishes on my face, and this powder is the only one with shimmer I’ve ever liked, as it gives your face a healthy finish that is great for summer. My only complaint is that it is very low coverage compared to something like Maybelline Pure Stay or Wet N’ Wild Coverall. The concealer and the liquid foundation, however, I will never repurchase. In my opinion, the liquid foundation feels heavy and looks very cakey when used with pressed powder. I hate cakeface, so I tend to use my Neutrogena skin-clearing foundation under the True Match powder instead. It also has very low staying power if you’re one who touches your face at all, and it will come off if you hug someone and put your face on their shoulder or something like that. But to get a more wearable product, you can mix it with tinted moisturizer to lighten the amount of cakiness. The concealer I had (it was so awful I just threw it away) was the liquid concealer they offer in the small, finger-sized bottle with the brush applicator. It left blotches on my face under the powder and did not blend—which is the complete opposite of the line’s claims. I tried everything with that little tube of Satan. I used less, I used it more concentrated on the ares where I needed it…nothing worked. Although I’m very picky about my concealers, and I honestly have not found a single one that I love, so maybe you’ll have different results.
Conclusion: I will repurchase the powder for a nice finish, but I will not repurchase the liquid concealer or liquid foundation.
I hope this helped someone! :)
(On my nails, I’m wearing NYC minute quick dry in Fashion Safari, which is a pale nude color. It shows up a lot better in person and is my favorite nail polish shade at the moment. :D)
